How we handle your details
Short and without euphemisms: what we keep when you get in touch, why, for how long, and what you can ask of us.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the business operating this venue. Contact details are in the footer and on the contact page.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we store what you fill in: name, email address, phone number, preferred date, guest count and anything you write in the message field.
We also store one technical value that is not a personal detail in the ordinary sense: a one-way hash of your IP address. It exists only to stop the form being spammed and cannot be turned back into your IP.
We use no analytics or marketing cookies. The site sets a single cookie, which remembers the language you chose.
Why we process them
To answer your enquiry and give you a quote. The legal basis is legitimate interest — you got in touch and expect a reply.
If it becomes a booking, we process the details to fulfil the agreement between us, and keep parts of them for as long as accounting law requires.
How long we keep them
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted automatically after 24 months. It runs nightly, so nobody has to remember it.
Bookings are kept longer, as they underpin a contract and our accounts.
Who else sees them
We do not sell your details or pass them on for marketing.
They are stored with our hosting and email providers, who process them on our behalf and may not use them for anything else. The database is located within the EU.
Your rights
You have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted and to receive it in a machine-readable format. Write to the address in the footer and we will sort it out.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can contact Sweden's data protection authority (IMY).
